Shrick Camshafts
a question for anybody that has had any shrick camshafs, or knows more about them. i found a company that sells Shrick camshafts for the M111 motor, for $1030/pair, with all seals and gaskets included. and i've read on some BMW tuning sites and VW tuning sites (since shrick cams are mostly for Audi, VW, and BMW, but they also do porsche and ford, and some MB) that you get an extra 8-12 hp out of them. question is, does anybody have any experience with them or know anything about them? granted it's a lot of money for the power, but if it keeps the torque curve flat through the top end, and ups the power there, might be worthwhile. any help would be appreciated, thanx.

i didn't know they made applications for mercedes. but... heres the down side in cams, you will lose low end torque. and... gain mid-upper HP. usually... using cams will require some chip to smooth out the curve. which is very limited in the MB tuning area.
