Replacing Pedal Pads On a 2002 W203 C240
I purchased some genuine replacement pads back several months ago. The parking and brake pads slip on with the help of a flat screw driver.
Has anyone replaced the accelerator pedal? Is that a cap cover in the middle that flips off? I read a few other threads but this seems like a different situation.

I wonder if Glyn is patrolling these waters and can assist with the accelerator pedal?

Just like avoiding breaking anything. I'll update with photos. I suspect it will be easy to undo the two prongs but I have a feeling it will be a pain to get back on.

When I bought new pedal covers the gas pedal cover included the plastic "spring / hinge" (not sure what it's called). To swap the whole assembly you do the same as outlined above but pop the plastic clip out. This is the part that the pedal pivots on. Then you can just separate the pedal from the base.

Get them, I upgraded and they're very easy to install, look great, and grip your foot much better. The brake pedal cover is harder to install than the gas pedal (have to stretch it over the pedal base).

I am now thinking of waiting to transfer all pedals to the C32. I should have never pulled into the lot. What have I done ?

Ended up test driving a 2002 C32 AMG with 54k so I held off on installing the accelerator pedal. After driving the car, I must say it almost felt like being out on the town with a beautiful women. The dealer is asking 17,999 . Its in very good condition but I think it needs a service. Throttle response is like a hungry monster
