Interior rattles FIXED!

So after taking my car in for a fifth time, the interior rattles have FINALLY been taken care of. They had my car for a week and apparently they took apart much of the interior. The main rattles I was concerned about occurred in the glove compartment cover and the plastic trim under the rear window. To fix it, they completely reassembled the trim in the rear and completely replaced my glove compartment.

In the meantime, they gave me a 2001 Nissan Altima to drive (they ran out of benz loaners), and then when I refused to drive it on a trip this weekend because it was trash, they gave me a 2002 SLK320. Pretty nice!

Anyway, I can finally drive my car and enjoy my stereo without banging my head on the steering wheel because of rattle frustration.

Session, did they line the rear trim with any sort of material to prevent any further noises from occurring?

As far as I can tell, they did put some sort of material in there to firm up the rear trim. I can only guess that it's foam or a pad or something like that. I also forgot to mention that they completely replaced my rear hatch shelf. My service rep told me they found out that the latches on the shelf (the strings that attach to the trim) were rattling as well.

Though there are still a few noises in the car, it's to the level where I can deal with it now. I suppose you could say that I have a good dealer, but remember that this is the fifth time my car's been in the shop for this reason.
