Sorry if it's been answered somewhere already, but I got tired of searching. Anyway, I have a 2001 C320 and won an auction on ebay a few months ago for a C Style grille and an OEM grille that came with it. I tried to swap out my original grille for the C style grille, but the screw holes on the C style grille were much larger than the ones on my OEM grille. I checked the OEM grille that came with the auction and they were also bigger than my OEM grille so I figured the grille from the auction was from a newer model than my 2001. I haven't been able to find appropriate screws to get the grille onto my car, but I am going to take it to a shop next weekend and ask them to put it on somehow. My main question is...is there anything that I need to buy to make sure that the hood latch will still work? When I place the C style grille onto the car without screwing it in, it appears that the hood latch is in a different position. I just want to make sure that it'll still work when it's finally put on. Thank you.
