Interior CF - THANKS PY Speed!

I purchased the Matte Charcoal CF interior fabric from PY Speed a few weeks ago. May I add that their customer service is GREAT and they have superman fast shipping! Heres a pic of the finished center console

Looks great. How hard is it to cut/mold the CF so it looks factory? Does it look factory or like a sticker you applied?

It looks great, I didnt buy the sticker material I bought the fabric. You basically cut it to fit and use 3M Super 77 Adhesive to apply it to the interior pieces

Looks Great

I thought about doing this but was afraid of the aluminum trim because of the lines. Did you run into any problems of the CF fabric bending into the lines?

That looks real nice.
How is the texture? Does it feel like cloth or is it more like a shiny plastic?

It feels soft to the touch like material, but firm because it is attached to plastic.

put a few coats of lacquer on it and it'll look hella glossy and feel hard like the real stuff.

how do you do the cup holder? I've got all of the pieces out except that. I didn't see the cup holder cover in your pic.

Thanks

Nice work. Do you have a close up picture of the pattern? It looks kind of different than mine. Here's what mine looks like.

gonna attempt hi-jack this thread just a little bit cuz that is damn good looking.
i've got the car with CF out of the factory on the trim, its got Cf on the center console, and on the door panels, i'm looking to get a CF fabric/wrap to finish off some other pieces that i feel should have been wrapped but weren't, how can i make sure they match? anyone know of a CF fabric to buy that matches the factory CF? having two different patterns/colors would look stupid

Mine's 3M CF fabric. I think a couple members here sell it. I got a whole roll of it when I still had my 350z. Planned to wrap some body parts but ended up totalled it so now I just wrap anything plastic that I can take off from my SL.

It's actually pretty easy to take off the center console. There's a DIY with all the pictures showing what screws and clips to take off. I took apart my C's center console a couple times to retrofit the command and it wasn't bad at all.
