So, I decided to paint my rims and go for a custom look...from what I have done, I am more than pleased with how they are coming along

My plan: I already have one extra rim that got damaged from a pothole so I decided to use it as a learner rim and to also try out some looks

Every day I'm going to add something new, then at the end go back and pick out my favorite and paint all the rims on my car

Nice color combo lip... But sorry don't like the rims in the first place

The rims look pretty good except the chrome part. The white and black combo will look good but maybe you can remove the chrome or paint it black??

ya im not such a big fan of the thick spokes, but nice color job. it sits well even though a lot of people have that same scheme. i would also try to paint the inside of the spokes white rather than black just so it pops more

The rims actually look fairly decent.... I'm going to paint the inside of the spokes today

For the chrome, I'm definitely painting them....If my spokes are white, the chrome strips will be black..If i go with black spokes, I'm going to paint the chrome strips white

Don't do that bro..I don't think it will look good. It's going to look too tacky (IMO)

Thats why I'm using this rim to test out some looks....we shall see how it comes out, otherwise I won't do it for the final rims

those spokes are way too fat, they would look alrigt if u did the chrome part white as well.

Thanks getting bad replies on the look of the rim but oh well its looking clean with the new paint...i'll post up the pics from today in a little

This is what i got today...took me a lot of time, lots of time on the tape

Step3:
Painted the around the bolted area and painted the sides of the spokes

umm you know i think it'll be different but i say it could end up being pretty sick. i wouldnt personally do it but until its a finished project i wont bash it yet.

i would do a flat black instead of the glossy black on the wheels or a satin black, that would look better IMO
