I've always wondered, why exhaust work takes a few days to get louder? I mean, the first day I got my resonator deleted, no difference was felt. Then, after a few months, it sounded much nicer.
Same goes for my magnaflow. It sounded like a** until four days later. I figure some sort of glue or residue is being burned away.. but?

changes in exhaust changes the exhaust flow which the ecu adjust itself to adapt for the difference.
sound difference from "new" muffler after using it a while is from the burning off of the material inside the muffler.
