UPDATED EXHAUST !
Nothing crazy
Just got my resonator and second cats deleted about 2 days ago.
For those looking to do this I highly recommend it. For the first day sound difference will be minimal, it will be about the 3rd day youll really hear the change, and boy is it music to my ears! IMO it could be louder
I dont think there are any power gains but definitely better throttle response specially in the high rpm's..

is that the catalytic converter in the middle (after the resonators)? I dont think the 05 kompressors have resonators at least from what i saw of my underside today when getting my oil done

the M271 C230k doesn't have a resonator. only a primary and a secondary.

well i have that big middle thing after where the 2 headers meet to make one pipe...i just saw it about 2 hours ago lol...maybe it just looks identical?

Absolutely no error codes (knock on wood) as long as you dont take off the primary cats youll be fine, only those have an o2sensor on them.
I will be making a video soon but when its done breakin in, shes still getting grumpier

I am sure some have gotten the same mod for much cheaper but there's a shop I rather pay a little extra and keep my bussiness with.

I have res delete w/ flowmaster 50 series, so curious/reluctant all at the same time, as I don't want it too loud (could always delete 2nd cats and put an aftermarket resonator back on)... but did originally just have res delete so I know what that sounds like, so Im also anxious to hear it.
whatever I can do to get the throatiest sound possible.
perhaps deleting the second cats will unlock some more throat that I seek, as its borderline a little too monotone right now. i want to hear more rumble...

Woooooot just got back from the exhaust shop 60 bucks for install of my new muffler.. Sounds hella sweeeeeeeeet
Also i got back from the shop i was asking how much it would cost to remove sec cats he said it was illegal but he would still do it for 45 bucks and 35 for the res

okay for all you m272 owners! IT AIN'T NO SECONDARY CATS!!!! THEY ARE JUST SMALL *** RESONATORS!! we basically have two cats and 3 resonators. I just got my straight pipe done and the shop owner thought it was a cat as well but it turns out those two lil midget looking cats are just resonators. So it's not illegal. =)

lol no man their cats... maybe the 2007 model is different but my 06 "small *** resonators"
have a part number and it comes up at catalyc converter
but anyway did u do it ?!

and about the secondary cats... iono the guy doing my muffler didn't want to take off those secondary cats cause of it being illegal but did it anyways but later when he was looking at it, he said they were basically resonators and not cats =/ hmmm.... but aither way i got it straight piped from the primary cats!

ya I got the raspy at exactly the samerpm, it will go away dont worry.
its not loud enough yet but wait a couple of days!
I love how mine sounds cuz I always tke it into that rpm range, but I am manual so its a little more fun

my car and getting to that rpm range as well... it's like that noise was the missing part of my car's soul
