Paint Grille?
I have a red 02' c230 coupe and im thinking about going black or red with the girll but cant decide, whats anybody think??

Make sure you use the right paint.. (Prep) mine looks like crap started to bubble around all the chrome

go black if you can match it with something, e.g. black wheels/tint/etc.
otherwise id stay stock

Get an 05 - 07 3 slat oem grille and black it out. It looks more sporty than your oem grille. Add a flat hood badge and you're good to go.

Ebay or search classifieds. Go with black though but the prep work on the grill will make the difference. You have to sand the grill so the primer sticks then sand again and then paint and you wont get any bubbles depending on how well you sand it. Mine is flat black on my red sedan and it looks good.

anything over $150 is too much; recommend getting a clear bra on it as it will chip and look bad as well.

ya i need one on my whole bumper...i had it and my hood repainted a few months back but unfortunately i had to make a long trip before it was fully cured and thus couldnt get the clear bra on it right away...needless to say that trip landed me about a half dozen chips and i was pissed...but not much i coulda done i suppose...i do still plan on get the clear bra as soon as i can find someone who can apply it.

I will do it for you for under $150. How's $149 sound?? Jk. But doing it yourself is easy.
