Thanks! Everyone likes the roof rack on the car lol... I took it off once when I had it at the shop and it looked naked without it haha guess I'm just used of seeing it with it on.

He's had his civic forever, think thats like his 5th set of wheels now. He's about to turbo it, I cant wait for it. :naughty:

car is looking good bro. i like the roof rack a lot. mind me asking where you got it from? i might be biking soon. looking for one.

phister Nov 30, 2010 12:26 AM

I got mine at Sun Ski and Sport, they had a 40% discount sale going on around tax return time. Plus I had a coupon for off the total so I got it all for around 325 which isnt bad, thats the whole rack, lock keys, and the two bike holders.

phister Dec 9, 2010 02:59 PM

might be putting my wheels up for sale soon guys... hopefully I found my next set of wheels.

phister Dec 10, 2010 12:44 AM

It rolls fine. But I rolled my fenders when I got my wheels initially. Ill take some pics when I get time and after a wash.

lancermr Dec 13, 2010 12:52 AM

fenders ?

back and front ?

I rolled the rear fenders at first and did the fronts when I got my coilovers just for precaution but it wasn't needed. But it all depends on your wheel offset in the rear if it'll rub or not. I have +33 in the rear and it only rubs if I go over a big dip on the highway, but its just rubbing the fender lining. If you got wheels with a +35 offset I dont think you'll rub at all. Hope that helps.

I'll be getting 17x8.5 +30 fr and 17x9.5 rr +30 here in the next month once the guy ships them off. for tires i'll be running 225/45/17 and 255/40/17.

phister Dec 13, 2010 06:49 PM

Here are my next wheels and a side view of my car. Raised the rear a little bit, felt like the stance was off looking at it.

Teins are a nice comfortable ride they aren't too stiff and soft enough to handle daily driving conditions.

Yea I can't wait to put the wheels on! It'll have to be after Christmas probably till I get them on.

efrancin Dec 14, 2010 10:36 PM

which tein coilovers are you running? anything to correct camber? looks great.... i'm about to pick up a c240 tomorrow and hope it one day looks as clean as yours...

Thanks... I'm running Tein basics, got a good deal on them from a member on here. Anytime you lower your car or do anything to suspension, you should get an alignment IMO. Camber on mine wasn't too bad, rears camber are just a little bit negative and the fronts are still OEM spec.

I say lower the front some more!!
