Very nice! What camera/lens do you use?

I need to clean my tips, I've just got to get around to it. I'm sure they look exactly like yours, black all around the bottom that wouldn't just wipe off. I washed mine and took some new pictures yesterday to show off the new brakes so I've got to go through those.

If I were to replace them, they would only be with another set of the same wheels. I also think they are the best looking wheels for the car.

Do you happen to know the name of that place in Cartersville? I looked at Metrowheels in Cobb County, but they want more like $150 each to refinish.

Might be tough to have them refinished unless I get a 2nd set to drive around since this is my daily driver.

I use a Pentax K20D. Those shots were with an old manual focus Pentax K-A 50mm f1.8 prime lens with a polarizing filter attached.

Try 000 steel wool, it worked great on that black carbon buildup. Don't use it on the whole tip, just on the area that is black. I also recommend getting simichrome polish. You can find it at any Harley shop. The bikers use that stuff like crazy. It will polish aluminum, chrome, stainless, etc.

Of course, rain here today, not the drenching kind, just the light, misty kind that really make your car dirty
At least I had 1 full day of it clean.

Thanks. Looks like they have mobile repair services. Their web shows repairs being performed on the vehicle too!

I finally took the driver door panel off tonight and tracked down the source of buzzing. There were several sources. One of the main ones is the window/trunk switches. I put some silicon on the loose parts and covered some strategic areas with raammat. Another source was the stamped metal piece that the inner door pull screws to. I covered both sides with raammat and put some silicon on the captured nuts to quiet them down. To be thorough, I put raammat all around the area where the speaker connects including the plastic housing. I have to wait for all the silicone to cure before I can be sure completely eliminated the noise from the switches. The other areas are dead quiet now though. I'll tackle the passenger door next. Something tells me, I'll be working on the parcel shelf at some point as well.
