err...to tell you the truth, it HAS saved me in many occasions BUT x band is SOOO annoying. It literally beeps every 2 seconds. on deserted highways it works like a charm though. It has never failed to warn me when a cop has his radar on. But if you're contimplating whether to get it or not, the V1 will not GUARANTEE that you won't get pulled over for speeding. There's many factors that still might lead to a ticket, such as if the cop is pacing you or if airplanes are clocking you.

One of the manufacturers of police radar recently turned X band into an instant on product. Talk about weird.. you're driving along in the middle of nowhere, an unmarked car approaches you and WHAM full strength, ahead arrow lit X band. Weird! It's like having a Walmart door assembly travelling toward you at 60 MPH!
