Front Speaker Grill Hole
Help the Dam window tint shop has broken my speaker grill on the drivers door, they tried to hid it with a bit of rubber but I noticed it the minute I open the door.
They have agreed to fix it as they should but he said he might be able to order just the grill instead of the hole panel is this true, I belived it to be a complete panel, or is he going to have to replace the hole door card panel, what do you think this will cost them
Thanks for the help

Can you get a diagnosis and estimate from your dealer? That might help protect from the tint shop doing a halfway job. The fact that they already tried to hide it would suggest that they'll not go out of their way to make it completely right. You already got pics, etc, I presume?
Best of luck.

As for the door of my car, the speaker grills are "melted" onto the door panel. By that I mean the plastic pins on the grill are inserted into the matching holes of the panel and then they are melted to make the grill premanently stay on. So I don't know if you can just buy the grill for this matter.

I had a similar issue with my car, I was getting out and the wind came up and slammed the door into my knee, broke the grill.
You can just order the grill, when I got mine I think it was like $170ish for just the grill. Then you need to seperate the old one and put the new one in, not a quick job. When the dealer did it, it took them like 3+ hours.

Wow, kinda surprised no one's asked how your knee was. How was it?

I still have the grill to remind me to hold the door as I'm getting out.
Thanks for asking.
