Im praying for you Brian, havent met you because I am new to the forum but I know how scary it is to not know whether a parent is going to live or not. Be strong because thats when your mom needs you the most.

Hey guys,
Just wanted to say thank you so much for all the support. I'm really touched that Karo put this up on here, and I have seriously appreciated all the prayers, kind words and words of comfort from everyone here for the past few weeks. I know I've been MIA because of my Mum's condition for awhile, so it's nice feeling remembered and still a part of the community. I'm an only child and come from an extremely small family (Just my dad, my mum and I), so it feels like you guys are our extended family.
I would like to extend a warm welcome from our family to you guys, so please don't hesitate to come to the funeral if you aren't doing anything this Saturday - Karo has the details.

Brian cannot imagine the amount of pain you are going through all I can offer, and I hope all others on this forum can do the same, is our friendship. Truly a mother is an irreplaceable person but do not live in this moment of pain but keep her as alive as possible in you're mind and soul. She is not gone she is simply taking a vacation from all the hectic BS on this planet. Better of now but she is always with us bro. Be strong and I hope for the best for you.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss Brian. I know it must be difficult. Been through that ordeal recently. Hope you an your family well during this time. I know that it takes time to mourn for a loved one.
My only solace during my ordeal was knowing that my loved one is in a better place and that we did everything we could possibly do to make her feel she was loved when she was with us.
I'm sure you and your family have done the same. Take care and God bless.

BLT (Brian) I don't know you either but I am sorry to hear about this news. I lost my mom last April from breast cancer. She fought for a long time. So I know what you are going through. I lost her right before my birthday. I only had her for 27 years. I still think about her everyday. That is what keeps me motivated to help other people as I am going to be in the medical field. She is my role model, inspiration, and my fire. Your mom is in a much better place now. Along with my mom.
