coolant flush or no?
i still havent changed my thermostat yet
but i was wondering do i have to flush the coolant when changing the stat i heard on here u can take the coolant cap off and let the engine bleed the air out inself after replacing the stat thanks my battery is almost 7 years old...haha but im worried who ever replaces it might fry the sams..or more damage cant afford that non sense right now |
No need to flush coolant at Tstat change. Your car should have the silica gel sachet in the surge tank to top up silicates. If so coolant can go 15 years.
Only change if it is discoloured. |
thanks glen
any idea on how to replace the battery without causing the sams or anything else from frying? |
Change the battery per user manual... Remove ground first then the postive and on reinstall do postive then ground and you'll be ok. Then just resync all windows.

Also PS your car looks awesome :zoom: Also MB dealers are with GLYN they dont reccomend it be changed unless it has turned color or is 15 years or older. |
Just buy yourself some concentrate. Dilute 50% with de-ionised water & top up loss.
