Vibration In Passenger-side Front Wheel
Hello forum - long time listener, first time caller here.
I'm experiencing a strange vibration in my 2002 C-230 coupe. When initially turning the steering wheel to the left while above 30 mph, I feel and hear a shudder from the passenger-side front wheel. The sound and vibration goes away as I turn farther in. It only occurs on left turns. It's worse on minor corrections to the left, such as subtle lane changes at speed. Could it be dangerous? What parts might be at fault? Is more likely a tire/wheel problem or a suspension problem? My vehicle is a: ~ 2002 C-230k coupe w/ 90,000 miles ~ On C7 17" stock wheels (could one be bent?) ~ With C32 AMG front brakes ~ Has an H&R rear swaybar ~ Recently had the right front tire replaced Thanks for any help! |
Could be wheel balance, bushings going out, wheel bearing out, alignment, or other suspension parts going out.

Is it dangerous? I drive maybe 10 miles daily (short commute). Is this something I have time to sort out, or should I be looking to head to the shop ASAP?

I would get it fixed soon as you can.just depends on what needs to be fixed

Bump for safety!
