What's a good brake caliper paint?
What's a good brake caliper paint?

Duplicolor, vht,.and of the ones at the auto store. Just prep it right and you'll be ok. You can use engine paint as well since it can withstand high temp. I used duplicolor metalcast on mine to get the anodized look.

Or you could just buy the G2 kit; Tirerack and probably thousands of other retailers sell them - self-contained, and easy to DIY.

Or, if you want an easy job with no prep and only want basic flat black... Use charcoal grill paint. Resists heat... doesn't peel... same color as brake dust... It is also good for the edges of the rotors if they are rusty. You don't have to mask any overspray on the rotors will grind off the first time you use your brakes leaving only black finish on calipers and edges of rotors. I did this on my standard C240 brakes but probably wouldn't do it on the nicer calipers on a sport package. They look good as they are or I would prep and do a different color on them probably.

I used the auto zone ones, they have this kit for $20 that comes with the paint, brush, tape, and caliper cleaner
