Morimoto HID Help

Okay. I just received my morimoto HID, it didn't come with instructions. I'm not sure where these wires go and the extra #4 wire harness is for.

It looks like a universal kit. 2,3,4 are spare harnesses. 2 would usually connect to the ballast but since 1 is on it, its just a spare one. 1 connects to the factory bulb harness, now if one doesn't work you can use 2 and just plug the connectors into the factory bulb harness. Basically the ballast is in between the factory bulb harness and the new bulb. Looking closer, 1,2,4 can all interchange at the connector at 1 so that you can have the proper connector to the bulb harness.

4 is for if the other two doesn't connect to the harness and you need to get different connector to make it work.

3 and 4 you dont need

3 4 2 and you dont need throw it out. 1 goes into where your headlight bulb plugs into to and thats it your done

you also need to drill a hole to fit those wire through the cap as well

thats why he can use connector 2/3, its designed to just plug into the oem harness without having to really plug it in. Its a cheapo way of doing it. He can just remove the connector 1 and attach 2 on it and plug 3 into the oem harness. Its universal instead of bulb specific connector harness :smash:. Hate those type of HID kits.

Short version of what phister said:

#2/3 is replaced by #1 in the pic. #1 is connected to the error cancellor.

However the mb bulb connector is inside the cover it is easier for you to use 2/3 and connect it back to the error cancellor.

just plug #1 into where you put the bulb.... nothing else is needed.....

Their Customer Service is A+, You should have contacted Andrew, Matt or Nate and requested a link to online instructions or some other option that is available to all of their customers.
