Bagged Benz Wagon.

Hey everyone got my car bagged this past week by Derek Kordower I'm sure many of you know his brother Brandon (OCklasse) excellent work and I would recommend him to anyone. I'm running Autopilot V2 management and Slam Specialties bags all around thanks to guys at Bag Riders. Car rides awesome if anyone has any questions about auto pilot or wants some footage of full up to back down etc feel free to ask as ive seen many questions but no one down to show footage.

And yes I know the front NEEDS to come down, I have to raise my strut towers and will be getting it done ASAP but as for now I'm loving the air :alright

Demonstration video and rolling footage

As far as I know and have been told there is only a handful of bagged 203's in the world let alone a wagon and in the US

Stock W203 Wagon VS Mine

And the trunk set up for those who don't follow my build thread, nothing crazy just clean and simple

Wow ! talking about rollin' deep. That's wild.

When the the tail is draggin, are you hitting/rubbing the inner wheel well with the top of the rear tire?

Thanks buddy! and not at all though I believe I probably would with a bigger/wider wheel. The low cruise preset is just high enough so that the exhaust and what not dosen't drag but as for all the way down not sure if it rubs as I cant really move at all

Looks like one of those cartoon cars that you see on t-shirts.

So the front is bagged too?

You said it rides good, but how does it handle compare to static suspensions?

Perches are dropped as low as possible without hitting the wheel

Yes theres a video demonstrating it, will be raising strut towers to drop the front another 2 inches. Handles excellent when you enter a corner it adds psi to the side that would normally lean over and keeps the car level, Airlift has a Subaru that they track with this management system

Neat. So OEM strut/modded/cut. Surprised you cant go lower up front. Are your front wheels/tires hitting the bag?

No there's no rubbing, my only other option would be to get a custom air strut with double bellow bags that can compress more than the one im using

So the airbag works in sync with the oem strut? Or do they no longer work since you have to cut them up?

Just saw the first video. Very cool!

Pretty slick. I've aft air bags on the GMC to better handle workaday loads.
That STi got a wee bit happy @ ~2:45!

Yes they work as they normally would. At drive height they ride is like stock the more I lower it the stiffer it will get up front the rear has so much travel it rides smooth at any height.

We did the same setup to our friends gs300. Pretty straightforward install. A lot of guys are proving that air ride struts can perform just as good as coilovers on road courses.
