Mercedes-Benz Srs Airbag light
Hi. I have Mercedes-Benz C180 Kompressor 2003.I celaned the enterior with water(only seats) and after i finished the srs airbag showed on board computer.I was at the Mercedes-Benz service and they said to me that it s to expensive and maybe we have to change the sensor because it s damaged.Can i know what do i have to do to fix it.Is it true that now airbag is fault or what? Thnx

You cleaned the seats with water? How do you mean? Do you mean you used a damp cloth, or do you mean you soaked the seat?
There is a sensor in the passenger seat tied into the SRS system. Water and electronics don't mix. If it got wet you'll need to replace it.

what about for the 07 C280? should i check the same spot? i have the same issue with the SRS light.
