white and whiter
without considering the M and AMG, I'll have to say that BMW would be my choice, unless it's the 325 vs C230k sedan. Then I would pick the C230k for the bang for the buck reason.

C230 K
I vote 330i. w/o the kompressor on the AMG model, the 3.2 L engine is nothing to be proud about. Good but not that good performance wise (or I'll be flamed by a bunch of sedan lovers).

MB C180K Coupe
I voted the C320 as the BMW will look outdated within two years once the new model is released around the world. The current W203 will look 'current' for at least another 3/4 years.

As for me, I'd go for the beemer, hands down. I just wish they didn't have this not-so-good aura and were less abundant here.

2002 C240 Classic - Orion Blue Beast!!
it's actually a "Bimmer", not a "Beemer".
bimmer = car
beemer = motorcycle
the upcoming e90 doesn't look too bad. i've seen some updated spy pics. better than the intial ones i saw.
i'd take the bimmer. much more fun to drive. mine still puts a huge smile on my face whenever i get behind the wheel!

The G35 is definately faster than the BMW 330, but not by much. As an owner of a BMW and G, I think I should know.

Vadim, I drove my buddy up to ATL about a month ago to buy a G35 coupe. I drove it at the dealer, around my buddy's house when he got home with it and a few miles around my neighborhood. I stick with my suggestion

Secondly, you mentioned quality. After reading that recent survey, Mercedes-Benz would be one of the last cars if I wanted quality.
