1. does anybody know if I install one of these in dash units, can still keep my controls on the steering wheel?
2. can the MB 6 disk changer be connected to it?
3. Has anyone tried running the stock (non-bose package) speakers for highs, while adding a small sub with it's own amp?
Do you think it will sound descent? I can use the built in amp in the head unit to power the stock speakers....
ideas, suggestions, opinions are appreciated....

1. Alpine is supposed to have an adaptor that is sold in Europe which allows use of the steering wheel buttons. The drawback is that it requires the ignition switch to be removed and some wiring altered. It appears this must be done by and MB dealer.
