Good Morning everyone,

I am new here but by the looks of some of these threads I've had some of the same issues...i.e. recalls, leaks, MAF, codes etc...

I just sent my 05 C230 Kompressor to the dealer for the 01-04 C230 recall (cam wire harness oil leak). They call me back a few hours later telling me about some oil leak on the vacuum pump. I did a bit of research and it seems its a popular leak with the C230.

I was wondering if anyone has done this repair themselves and what the steps were to completing it? Do you need to put the car on a lift to get to it? and should I just change out the pump or just the seals? When you buy the pump does it come with the seals?

I would greatly appreciate any information/pictures anyone could assist with. I am pretty mechanically inclined and have the tools required.
