Can anyone suggest a course of action for a P0400 EGR fault code on a 2002 C320.
I am not super mechanical, but several of the issues I have consulted on this forum have helped me solve problems DIY and that means $$ saved.
Which is significant for me since I dont have the $$ to spend at an MB service center.
Any help/advice is GREATLY appreciated.

Either the EGR valve needs replaced, or the pipe that goes to it gets clogged as well. It's located on the back of the engine. If I'm replacing the EGR valve, I like to replace the pipe while im at it. But not everyone does.
