Confused by M22 and MBZ on end of part number

While looking for a fuel tank vent valve, I discovered some with 000-470-71-93 M22 and others with 000-470-71-93 MBZ.
Most suppliers had the part number without the letters on the end.
Can anyone explain these differences?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Pelican and other suppliers attach identifiers to the manufacturer's part numbers to reference the source of the part. Pelican uses M22 to indicate a Genuine Mercedes Benz part that is typically in their stock, MBZ means it will be sourced directly from a dealer and sometimes drop shipped. In either case they are identical.

Some Mercedes parts have a suffix added by Mercedes that usually indicates color or finish.
