2007 C230 Body viberation / resonance b/w 80 - 100 kms/h
Hi All, I need some help on this. I am writing this from UAE and i own a 2007 model C230.
As soon as i hit the speed of 80kms/h, body veberations/resonance starts and it goes off at 100kms/h. There are no other viberations at all, no viberations in the steering as well. I had just replaced the all 4 tyres and they are of the recommended size. Got them balanced from the specialist who does the High Speed Balancing, but the problem is still there. That guy advised me that i have to get the tranny mount replaced, as its broken. I got that done, but the viberations are still there.
Does anyone had the same experience and can advise me the solution for this.

Check propshaft, make sure it has not thown a balancing weight. Check flex discs & center bearing. Grease slide. Check CV joints on both rear axles.
Check front engine mountings.
Good luck.
These cars have a natural harmonic at approx 93 Km/h but it is so slight that most will never notice it.

check the parking brake lever mechanism under the rear seat, could be seized and not fully releasing and will cause incredible vibrations at highway speeds. Search forum as I discussed this fully

Hi All,
Thx for your support & advises, i would like to update you that the problem is gone by changing the hard flex discs and propeller shaft support bearing.
Thanks again.
