Quick back story, Saturday when it was pouring down rain, my windshield wipers stopped in the up position while driving down the road. We pulled off at a gas station and I swapped the 1-2 slow speed relay with the On/Off relay and got them working again so I could drive it home. I ordered a new relay and replaced it, but now the windshield wipers are stuck in the up position. They won't go back into the "home" position. I tried swapping the 2 relays making sure that both where not bad and they still stay up.

Before I go and drop $360 on a new windshield wiper motor and try to figure out how to replace it, is there something I am missing? Does it need "reset" somehow?

Sounds like park position in motor is faulty, also could be wiring fault, you really need to get it tested 1st.

Not sure if the motor caused the relay to go bad or the other way around, but in any case, the wiper motor had to be replaced. All is fine now.
