STOPPED CAR FOR TIME
I parked my C200 W203 2001 model for about 2 or 3 hours, when I tried to start it cannot start everything is on except that the engine cannot start or crank. when diagnose there is ESM and ETC error codes. what could be the problem

parked merc C200 2001 model but cannot start anymore. engine can't run or crank.
the OBD scanner has the following error messages
1. P2001 ETC-ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION CONTROL-faulty
2. ESM- ELECTRONIC SELECTOR MODULE -faulty.
what are these messages and where are they located in the car?

I believe the ESM is the gear shift leaver and the ETC is under the passenger side carpet (on left hand drive models I assume it would still be on the passenger side for right hand drive models)
