Hey guys, I am thinking about getting a flat hoodbadge for my car and ditching the ornament.
Can any of you PS this pic?
Or have any pics of yours with the flat-hood badge WITHOUT the CL Grill? preferably in silver?

The Brabus and AMG Badges are 1¾" in diameter and sit within the existing recess in the hood from the former upright star, which has a base of the same diameter. The SLK Badge depicted in MBSang's PS (the flat one you buy at the MB dealer) is 2¼" across, and fits on top of the hood straddling (and covering) the recess. IMO, his PS is close to size, but slightly too large. I have a picture of the badge on my car (Desert Silver) but the forum will not let me post it successfully. 
BTW, after two years sitting on my car, the clear coat on the flat badge has vaporized, and the painted parts are starting to fade.
Soooo, I am experimenting with creating my own badge. It's based on a traditional MB Keychain Fob, and will be small enough to fit within the recess so that it sits flush with the hoodline. It will be encased in clear acryllic (rather than clear coated) to protect it better, and give a deep 3D effect. It will look sharp, but I have just started on this project.

Does anyone know how to get in the USA the blue turn signal bulbs (interference design) found in the Bi-Xenon ausbrabus picture? These are what has been used on Bi-Xenons in ROW while we get yellow in the USA.
Can these be fitted in USA Bi-Xenon cars? If so, where can you get them? Thanks
