srs faults cleared warning light still on
hi i had the srs light on on my 2003 c class coupe. i had the fault code read on autel diagnostics machine, it turned out it was the curtain airbag squib. i have replaced it and the code has no been removed, the car is showing no codes atall. however the srs light is still illuminated on the dash and the srs warning in digital display. very confused, thanks

I am not familiar with the autel diagnostic machine but I suspect you need to make sure it is capable of Mercedes diagnostics. I would find someone with the Mercedes diagnostic computer to verify issue is fixed and reset the system to see if that fixes it. I have heard srs lights are hard to reset but I have a star machine so I haven't tried using other systems.
