Electric proplem
I have 2001 MB C240 Three months ago my battery was dead. So dead had to get tow to open doors. Got a jump and all was good. Took it to shop to have battery test done and they said all is good. Battery good, Alt. 14amp and good,and Starter was good. I checked for drain on battery when car not used. When you take out the key it has around 12 amps going out. In about 20 sec. it starts to go down. In two min. it is down to .02 or .03. Sometimes it bumps up to .10 for a second but goes right back to .02
I bought a new battery anyway. All was good for about two weeks. Then the same thing has been happening. Been told that the battery is dead and that there is a drain some where. But how can it be draining if it goes down to .02?
Today I try to start it and it won't turn over. I take out the key put it in again. I do this many times and it turned over and started.
I am more worried now. A red light comes on that reads TELE/STAR go to service center. Can anyone please tell me what is going on.
Add to it for a long time (about a year) The dash has said Left tail out also reserve tail on. I have changed all the bulbs and it still says that. Would it have anything to do with my problem?
