Talking H&R Coilover Suspension Installed

Box was a little banged up but the coilovers were fine. Pics show the coilovers being installed.

My car felt like a boat before these were installed, I'm not sure if the shocks were ever replaced before I bought it.

Pros: Now that the car is about 2 inches lower and feels much stiffer going over bumps and has much less body roll, I definitely like the result.

Cons: The suspension did not include sway bar links or camber adjustment plates, but I'll be able to purchase aftermarket adjustable sway bar links and replace the sway bar with an H&R sway bar as well.

Summary: The floaty boat-like suspension feeling is gone, the car is lower and handles better, I am satisfied with the result.

Looks nice! But why does the back wheels look like they aren't sticking out enough?

How much did you pay for the kit!?

you need to run better wheels and tires than the wimpy 205/55 R16 if you upgraded the suspension at least run the stock sport 17" with staggered tires

I'd say at least 18x8 with 5mm spacers, with larger if money is there.

Actually I have wheels but I don't think the rears will fit even if we roll the fenders, I need to fabricate a flare. If anyone reading this has fitted 19x10 let me know what was needed.

Carlsson 2/5 Brilliant Wheels

Front 19x8 et35 (fronts should fit)
Rear 19x10 et45 (rears need a spacer + flare if they're going to fit)

I just ordered some Vossen 19x10 +36 for my rear w/ 275/30r19 and was told they fit with no problem but am a sedan so not sure if there's a difference.

I think there might be a difference concerning the rear strut, but I haven't tested it with the new suspension yet, those pics were from the old suspension.

I can't publish my cost since we sell H&R but I can say I was surprised to see someone else selling the same thing on eBay for near what I paid for my set.

I ordered all new lower suspension parts because I had a bad sway bar arm link. We'll install and take some new pics. Unfortunately these do not have camber adjustment plates and it's not an option as far as I can tell.
