Unhappy Have no clue

So, my w203 is having problems starting when warm. If I go for a drive, park, leave it for around 30min+, it'll crank for Around 3-4 seconds and it'll start. I rented a fuel pressure kit from autozone to see the pressure when it's trying to start. I noticed some kind of black build up on apart of the engine.

A rubber piece came off which seemed like some kind of part to a seal. This is
My first car & idek what it's called but I'm thinking it's a cylinder head leak. Can someone please shed some light?

Do you have your own OBDII scanner? If not, go back to Autozone and ask them to run a quick diagnostic. It may be the Crankshaft Position Sensor (just went through that) given what you've said. Drive it around and park it for 10 minutes, if it cranks but doesn't start then odds are that's your problem.

I have an OBDII scanner, no codes pop up. I was thinking CPS too but the thing is, it cranks for a long time but always start.

Those top covers with two bolts in them one each side leak commonly and won't cause any issues but should be fixed as they make a mess. They don't have gaskets you have to make your own we have DIY guide on here.
Head gasket is much lower down.
What was the starting fuel pressure?

I would also go with the CPS. They are a reasonable price and will eventually go out.

But to go with what you are doing. Sure check the fuel pressure while cranking. Maybe check for lose connections.
