Intermittent Central Locking on 57 Plate C220
2 days ago I had my rear windows tinted by a well established company in my home town. Everything was working fine for the rest of the day however yesterday morning, my central locking wouldn't work via RF. I could only use this via IR.
This morning (after a heavy frost - not sure if this has affected it), the car unlocked fine over the RF. I was able to unlock/lock the vehicle via RF for 2-3hrs but then i couldn't unlock via RF or Ir. I had to use the key. A few hours later, the IR started to work again.
My radio reception is fine. I have checked the fuses in the rear SAM and all are intact. I've never had any issues at all with my vehicle since I had the rear windows done.
The company that provided the tints told me they use non-carbon/metallic tints.
Any suggestions please? Thank you
