Stereo works when car is off??

Stereo works when car is off??
Has anyone noticed that the Coupe's stereo system will function even when the car is COMPLETELY off, the key not even in the ignition? When you remove the key, it turns off, but if you press the button again, it comes back on. I have the bose audio and a dealer-installed cd-changer. Is this a feature, or a design flaw? or is it just me?

It's great for washing the car. Just hit the button, close the door and start scrubbing. No risk of leaving the stereo on too long either. For a full detail you may have to hit the button several times, YMMV

You got the Chevy Malibu loaner too? I had one for a week when they where replacing my rear window and radio amplifier. I had only had my C230 two weeks and then all of sudden I'm driving that Malibu. My friends gave me hell over that...
