Shake at high speeds 75+
I have a MB 2006 c230 that I just picked up. I'm rather new with MB and had a few questions.
When I'm on the highway going excess of 75+ mph I notice the car starts to have a constant tremble and the faster I go the more violently it gets. I feel like the car is just going to break! It's so odd to me because it only does this at those speeds. The car feels very smooth under 75 it's perfectly fine.
Also, I noticed when I'm slowing down to a complete stop the car seems to jerk quite noticeably specifically 2nd and 1st (sports mode). Wondering if that was normal?
I'm new to MB and this community hope to find some help!
Thanks guys!
As for transmission issues if your a DIY type person flush the transmission out if you do it yourself you can do it for under $100. The transmission should be serviced every 39k

Definitely get the wheels & tires balanced and rotated.
If you need any DIY assistance check out our tech articles here that can provide a great amount of literature on your vehicle.
-Luccia
-Get in car and turn the key in the ignition to the on position-position before the car starts.
-Once the key is in this position fully depress the throttle with for about 10-15 seconds.
-Next keep your foot on the throttle and turn the key to the off position-position where you would pull the key out. (Do not remove the key from the ignition).
-Now take your foot off the throttle and leave the key in the ignition. At this point you want to leave the key in the ignition for 2-5 minutes. Do not touch anything with in this time period, don't turn the radio on, don't open the window, don't open the door. Do nothing! The memory will be reset and will adapt to your driving over the next few hundred miles or so.
There is a video on Youtube were the guy says 2,3,4,5 minutes or so. I usually go 5 minutes since I can be texting or talking on my phone etc.
