Oil pressure gauge retrofit
One thing I really don't like with the W203 is that MB got the idea to skip the oil pressure gauge altogether.... ...on a 14 year old car with over 300K kilometers on the clock I feel that I want to know what's going on in the engine, so I am thinking about the possibilities to retrofit an aftermarket oil pressure gauge.
The M111 engine was fitted in the W124 the last years of production, so there has to be somewhere to fit a sensor, since all W124 models still has the gauge. Rumors say something about that there should be a threaded blind plug on the right side of the engine where the W124 M111 has the sensor. When looking, I find one that seems to have an allen head, between the second exhaust port and the engine mount.
Anyone that can confirm that this one is the plug to replace with a sensor?
