First I hydro locked my poor m272 in my 06 c230. I now need a new engine. So with that in mind has anyone put in a larger displacement m272 engine in a c230. I was thinking of the 3.5 l out of a junked c350/clk350. My mechanic is good he is the only eurocharged dealer in my area. I'm just wondering if since I need a new engine if it would be worth the trouble of putting in a bigger one. Thanks

You will probably need a different computer for a different engine?

Well to update we are going with a c350 engine from a 09 car. I'll post photos of the engine swap. Going to have the computer reflashed from euro charged and should be good to go.

Don't forget to run the VIN to make sure the donor engine doesn't suffer from the M272's balance shaft issue.
