SOS ISSUES
I have a 2001 C320 Sport Sedan , the malfunction shows up on display as annoying as possible and it cuts out my music every 30 seconds some days and others here and there. YES I have read other posts on this matter and SEARCHED but have not found a solution.
There are many posts saying in the "trunk left side" there is a adapter/splitter looking piece that corrodes but after ripping it apart and realizing its not in the trunk I'm giving up.
I have a 2001 C320.. can some please help me before I take a bat to the whole car. I have called my local Stealership and they wont say a word but for me to bring it in so the can find the issue.. yeah no thanks!
Any help is greatly appreciated
Thanks

I would check the orange plug that goes into the climate control unit. I had a similar issues in my 2002 and found that I had not properly inserted my plug. The SOS is part of the CAN Bus and any connector not properly connected/fitted will give off an SOS error.
Guys feel free to correct me if my memory is wrong.
