Body Shop in Atlanta GA??
anyone has experiences with either:
Sports & Imports
Classic Collision
anything he should know?
my parents have used sports & imports on their cars all with pretty good results as far as i'm aware - but i believe their prices are a bit high. my car was keyed and i had Mercedes of Athens do the work - they were great.
if paint work needs to be done i know that sports & imports does NOT take the body part off the car to be painted, rather masks surrounding areas. Mercedes of Athens took off my driver's door, front and rear quarter panels, repainted, blended, and polished the entire car.
apparently a trained eye can tell if a car (or portion) has been painted from lines left by masking and such?
i don't remember the shop foreman's name but their main # is 706-549-6600. ask for the mercedes body shop and you should be good to go.
from atlanta it's about an hour-fifteen to athens - they'll set you up with a rent-a-car no problem. it may be worth the drive. good luck!
