2005 mercedes w203 c320 front left turn signal always on

I have something weird happening with my 2005 c320 , the front left turn signal always on even when I switch off the car . I tried to change the lamp but I got the same thing. then I've tested the electrical plug that goes inside the light with the voltmeter I got voltage comes out of one the wires.
IS the Front SAM my cause this problem? how can i replace it i need video or pics showing the steps please .
ANY SUGGESTIONS????!!!!!!
THANKS

Check your light switch position...there is a Euro parking feature that keeps the (parking lamp or flasher, I'm not sure) lights on steady even with the car turned off..

I don't think because 1st I am in USA 2nd it was not doing something like this before 3rd i got a message on the multifunction to check the front left turn signal so I am sure that there is something wrong with it.
THANKS!!!!

2005 C Wagon (No snickering please!)
The lamp has +12 volts on the lamp all the time. The SAM pulls the other wire to "ground" with a transistor. It is possible for the transistor to short, but that is very rare. More likely the wire that goes from the lamp to the SAM has been cut, harpooned, sliced, stripped, insulation dried out, or just plain unlucky on its journey to the SAM.

Many German cars have a feature for parking that turns on the turn signal lamps on the left or right IF the ignition is OFF AND the turn signal lever is left up or down. They do this even in America! Since you don't say the rear turn signal light is illuminated, I don't think you have activated this feature.

Measure the voltage between the lamp terminals and any chassis connection. One wire will measure about +12v, if the other wire measures 0.0v, you have a short. Then you need to follow the wire to the SAM making sure it has good insulation the entire distance. A good working SAM will read a few tenths of a volt above ground. If there is a short, you will get an error message because there would be no current flowing through the emitter resistor in the SAM, which would signal a burned out lamp.
