C230 06 Sport sedan - 18inch offset
Need some advice regarding an offset and tire size for an18 inch rim for my 06 C230 sport sedan. I'm planning to upgrade my stock rims.
Thanks,

I have an '06 C55 with stock 18" wheels. Offsets are 37 front and 30 rear, so I believe anything in that range could work. I also have a set of Lorinser 19" wheels, 8.5" F and 9.5" R. They fit perfectly and have offset 38 front and rear. Not trying to sell you these, but they are for sale if you're curious about them.

The original wheels are 18x7.5 front and 18x8.5 rear and tires are 225/40/18 and 245/35/18 respectively. I have ran another set of 18" wheels which were 18x8 front and 18x9 rear and I ran 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 with great results.
The 19" Lorinser I have are wider by 1" front and rear than the original wheels. On these to keep the diameters close to original, I would recommend 235/35/19 front and 255/30/19 rear.
The Lorinsers are authentic made in Germany. They retail for $600/piece, but I am selling the set for $1200 shipped.

I have a similar question. The car is an 06 c230 sport w/staggered wheels. I want to put aftermarket wheels on it (17x8). OEM is 17x7.5 front and 17x8.5 rear. Is there a negative impact if I use 17x8 wheels? additional information (tires are 225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rear). From my research, the tires should fit the 17x8 wheels.
