W203 Door Replacement
My situation is a broken window regulator in my drivers side door. Have been contemplating taking on this task diy vs shelling out the extra cash to have it done. On top of this, I have rust along the bottom of the door panel which is fairly common for the w203's, especially up here in Canada.
Which leads me to my question, what is the difficulty of replacing the entire door with a salvaged one from another silver W203?
I have found some online for roughly the same as the window regulator on it's own, that are complete doors. Is the door "plug and play", or would I need to switch out the air bag unit for example due to the computer recognizing a different unit or something?
Even if it costs a bit extra, I could potentially get two birds with one stone - the broken window regulator and the rust.
Did some searching but have not been able to find any info on a full door replacement for a w203.

I have not replaced the door in the W203 specifically, but I don't think it's all that difficult. Just make sure the ignition is off and key removed before you disconnect the airbag. Other than that it should be plug and play.

You will have a good time trying to align the panel gaps though. Unless perhaps the new door still has the half of the hinge bolted on (I believe it is possible to split the hinges in half).
Other than that, should be plug and play, unless you have fancy features like folding mirrors/auto-dim and the donor car doesn't. Then might need to swap parts from your old door.
But the module responsible for folding is in the front passenger door IIRC.
