What year G Wagon? Because early 463's and 203's have the same cluster. So yes you could swap it but programming it to work is the hard part.

Hello,

My G500 is a model year 2005.The instrument cluster that I am trying to use is a 2006 w203.first I installed the instrument cluster and started the car,and the major problems I had were:
-fuel level sensor (showing on minimum with reserve light, while the car was full)
-rpm showing more value then the actual value.
-showing the "S"(sport driving mode) instead of HIGH or LOW gear range.
The major problem that I am having,is the possibility of coding the instrument cluster on the car using star-diagnose,even with developpement mode...coz all the problems could be solved if this was possible.

so what I did,was reading the e-eprom and re-program it with a G 2008 software, but the flash file is still of the w203...
a lot of problems were solved, but still impossible to change the coding!it is only possible to do it on a w203 2006,but once done there, and re-installed on the G,the CAN is ereasing the coding....
so any idea how to do it?
