How to remove entire Dashboard on 2003 C240, I have the center console out, upper and lower sections both out, just can't seem to get the dash to come out, any help would greatly appreciated.

2003 C230K Coupe Orion Blue
The dash is held in place to the horizontal frame (the large structural steel bar) by 6 fasteners iirc. I assume the dash between the coupe (what I drive) and sedan are identical, other than the shape of the instrument cluster hole.

2 fasteners hold the steering column to the frame, and are accessed by removing the instrument cluster. Fasteners face "down".

2 fasteners hold the passenger side airbag to the frame. These fasteners face "up".

The last 2 (took me a while to locate these) are located at the top of the dashboard, at the ends of the long thin defrost air vents (at the corners of the dash, almost next to the A-pillars). Look for a plastic cover. These are not simply cosmetic - they cover the fastener. Gently pry with a tool or long thin screwdriver. The fasteners face "down".

Good luck.
