Rebuilt alternator, problem persists
Hi all
I rebuilt my 2007 W203 C200 CDI alternator (replaced voltage-regulator, brush set, slip ring, both bearings and rear bearing plastic cap) but my battery is still not charging - the red battery image still appears on the dash and the battery gets an actual 10.5v voltage (lower than the expected charging voltage of 14v).
I also checked all the car's fuses (they're OK) and the connectivity between the alternator and the battery. All seems fine.
Does anyone knows how to proceed from here in getting my alternator back to work?
Additional info: the car did 600k KM (370k miles).
