Hey guys, My sunroof recently started to leak when raining, it also opens with one touch, extremely slow, and one touch close feature works until it hits this point of resistance then goes back. there are 2 of these areas, and upon investigation they are bumps along the guides for the roof. PLEASE someone help.

There are plenty of threads here on this.
I am sorry this is happening.

#1. Clean the rails and use the correct lubricant.
#2. There is a TSB on some poor OEM fits - use of a Butyl chord can help.
#3. They can leak from a few sources/reasons - find yours. Drain plugged, fit OEM, dirt, rusted connector, etc.
#4. While you may not be able to drive with it - source a large magnetic sheet (24"x36") on eBay, round ends with scissor and use when parked to shield/seal off roof.
#5. Press and hold button UP for a while to re-sync when all cleaned and in good order...

Hello. I can't acess the TSB for the sliding glass. The butyl is installed where on the sunroof?

There is a recall for the sunroof. bmv has stated for the reminder for the yearly plate stickers.
