2002 C230 AC not blowing cold
The AC blows hot. I tried to recharge it using the regular R134a can with a pressure gauge. When connected to the low pressure valve, the gauge needle went beyond red and showed full. No matter what I do, the AC does not take in any Freon from the can.
What must be the issue?
i am going crazy in this heat with the AC blowing hot air. Please help

Otherwise pressure equalizes and is higher than can.
Research is key here, worth doing right. Randomly jamming things when you don't know what you're doing can quickly move AC into "needs professional help' land.
I had a similar issue. Basically the temp sensor failed, and was reading that the core was -27 degrees. The computer thought that the evap core had frozen over and applied heat to attempt to melt the ice.
Its a bit awkward to replace, but not expensive.
