Boot Remote and internal switch won't work
 

Good Evening all,

I am new here - just purchased an old 2003 W203, C200k.
I have noticed that the boot open button on the key does nothing, neither does the internal switch. Doesn't make a sound or an attempt to open the bottom - nothing.

To open the boot, i need to use the handle above the registration plate.

Anybody know what I should be looking at to fix this?
