Car won't start!!
Hey guys this is about the third time in a row that this has happened to me, my car won't start then I will have to "jump" it using someone elses' car battery. I have no idea what the problem is, I reciently installed bi-xenons but I got them programmed. Anybody have any ideas???? Thanks.

Have you taken it in to the dealer for this? If not, I would schedule an appointment.

My Boss had the same problem with his E500 twice last week. The dealer put in a new battery the second time. He has no mods but said over the years he has had problems with battery's in the MB's he has owned.

could be something draining the battery...
ask the dealer to run a check. |
i have the same problem too. it happened to me three times in less than 6 months. i called road side assistance everytime to jump start my car. since my car is not under warranty anymore (58000+miles), i had to purchase a new battery on the second time, thought that would fix the problem.... but it wouldnt start again last night, and i called road side again....
my car is 2001 sedan btw. |
Sad...You have an '03 model, right? That's way too soon for the battery to already start having problems. Definitely check it out with the dealer...

They do have a recalled about it, the fix is to change the battery.

Thanks guys! I hate going to the stealership, even though I paid for the extended warranty (and my car is still under the factory warranty) it's a 2003, I know they are going to come up with some complete :bs: excuse (most likely because of some sort of modification iv'e done) (sound experienced don't I??) and make me pay for the new battery as well as the $92 and hour "labor" for looking at it! I can only think of two options, 1. Call roadside assistance and have them replace my battery and see if I still undergo the same problem. 2. Drive about another 60-70 miles to another stealership, hoping they don't come up with the same :bs: ....any other ideas???

Go and ask the dealership about the recall and it should be change without u paying anything.
PS: My battery was change under warranty even before they discover it need to be recall. |
